Who is Katie Strange?
A very proud mum of two! Happiest outdoors and with my family. Sports enthusiast. Big Arsenal fan. I play netball most weeks and run occasionally (!!). It’s always a “yes” to a quick drink at the pub. Upbeat by nature, driven by results and very excited for this next chapter; both personally and professionally.
Recruitment background?
I’ve worked in recruitment for the past 14 years. I spent 4 years at a high street agency, winning several national awards for my achievements in commercial permanent recruitment. I decided to “go it alone” in 2016 and have successfully ran Katie Strange Recruitment for the last 10 years. My experience, combined with my passion for the industry makes me incredibly excited to work with Lisa and to launch SWRP.
Interesting fact:
I worked as a sous chef in a mountain restaurant for a ski season in France – and I’m really really bad at cooking!
Who is Lisa Wright?
A proud mum of two teenage girls and two adorable dogs, Toffee (my cockapoo) and Cookie (my pomapoo). Happiest when I’m at home with my family—definitely a home bird at heart. I love keeping active with walking, running, and regular yoga and pilates, and I’m a big advocate for good mental health and wellbeing.
Recruitment background?
I’ve worked in recruitment for over 25 years, starting as a Junior Secretary for a finance recruiter before moving into a consultancy role with a national high street agency. Over 18 years, I progressed to Managing Consultant and became the company’s number one permanent consultant. Ready for a new challenge, I launched Lisa Wright Recruitment, which I’ve successfully run for the past 7 years. Now my girls are older, I’m excited to take on my next chapter alongside one of the best in the industry, Katie, and to grow SWRP together.
Interesting fact:
I once jumped out of a plane as a surprise from my husband—after casually saying (whilst watching I’m a Celebrity) that I quite fancied giving it a go!
